What is LocksmithGT?
We are a locksmith service built around one idea: when you are locked out or your lock fails, you should be able to call one number, talk to a person, and know what it will cost before anyone touches your door.
The work is everyday city locksmithing: condo and house lockouts, keys snapped off in old deadbolts, rekeys after a move, lost car keys in a parking lot and broken locks on shop doors. We also take planned jobs, like master key systems for small offices and turnover work for property managers.
How does a call with us work?
- You call dispatch. The line is answered 24/7. Tell us where you are and what is going on.
- We give you an arrival time. Most calls get a technician in about 15-30 minutes. Rush hour, snow and late-night road closures can add time, and we say so up front.
- The technician confirms the price. There is no call-out fee. You hear the price on site and agree to it before work starts.
- We try the gentle way first. For lockouts we pick or bypass the lock where we can. Drilling is a last resort, and we explain why before doing it.
Why do we ask for ID before opening a door?
Because the next locked door could be yours, with someone else standing outside it. Before we open a home or a car, we check photo ID with the address, a lease, a utility bill, or the car's ownership. If your ID is inside, we open the door and look at it with you before we leave.

What do we do, and what don't we do?
We stick to locks, keys and door hardware. If a job is outside that, we tell you on the phone so you can call the right trade.

We don't do
- Alarm systems, CCTV cameras or car kill switches
- Copying encrypted condo fobs or changing building common-area locks without the property manager
- Bypassing dealer-locked immobilizers on some newer European cars
- Opening a home or car before we have checked ID or proof that you live there or own it
